Connecting you to your practice

DJK_Samantha-7_edited.jpg

Hello, I am Samantha and welcome to the Wholebeing Initiative! Yoga has been a part of my life for over 15 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more grounded and centred within my everyday life. The deeper I go on my Yoga journey the more I feel drawn to helping others connect with their own practice.

In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing and a spirit of playfulness! I like to teach with an authentic, non-judgmental teaching style and compassion-centered philosophy that embraces the essence of yoga and supports you to grow, explore and move with safety, comfort and awareness.

I facilitate movement and mobility through the fusion of breath and movement to improve your  health, mind body connection, energy, vitality and wellbeing.

Hi everyone, my name is Pam Lane and I have a passion to help others cultivate a lifelong, safe and sustainable yoga practice. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my practice with you at the studio!

I undertook teacher training in my early 50s to give me the knowledge and confidence to approach yoga in a holistic way that met my individual needs. Further studies in anatomy and physiology have given me the understanding of why the standard alignment cues don’t fit everyone, and why pranayama and meditation are such powerful tools.

I love creative sequences that flow with the breath – moving slowly and smoothly. My focus is not on achieving a specific shape but rather on exploring your own body and respecting its needs. I encourage the use of props and variations to accomplish that – as tools that enable you to work with where you are in that moment to safely build strength and flexibility.

Hi there, I'm Sharee! I started my Pilates journey in the Whitsundays 2 years ago. I was inspired to start teaching so that I could share my love for Pilates with others!

There is a lot to love about Pilates and I bring that passion to my classes! I love that the essence of Pilates is about body awareness through controlled movement, breathing and focus.

My classes use Pilates mat work and gravity as resistance to improve core stability, align muscle imbalances, improves posture, promotes functional movements.
